Mental Health Counselor
Susane Smiroldo is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student committed to a multicultural, integrative approach to healing. Her work weaves together evidence-based counseling with embodied practices rooted in mindfulness, cultural humility, and somatic awareness. She is a certified Vinyasa, prenatal, and trauma-informed yoga instructor (Sacred Seeds and Kripalu) and a mindfulness teacher trained through Harvard and Blue Cliff Monastery.
Susane was recently awarded the Haberman-Williams Scholarship by the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association, recognizing her as a model of academic and professional excellence. She speaks on topics including mindfulness, trauma, mental health, and immigrant resilience.
Born in Brazil and based in Massachusetts, deeply passionate about Zen meditation, which she practices with her sangha in MA, as well as exploring nature and playing Capoeira. She is also the proud mother of Valentina, Lorenzo, and Antonella—her greatest teachers and daily inspiration.
